Displaying the benefits of natural gas 12 Dec 2008
Santos is one of the world’s leading oil and gas exploration companies and the third biggest in Australia. In a major new undertaking for this multi-national corporation, Santos is about to launch its Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas (GLNG) project which will include a processing plant in Gladstone, Queensland and several massive pipelines across the state – one of which starts in Roma in central southern Queensland.
Martins Integrated was commissioned by Santos to design and install displays and furniture for their visitor information centres in both Roma and Gladstone.
Santos is widely regarded for its contribution to the community and these innovative centres are designed to provide insight and information to local residents and visitors about the project, the surrounding community, the environmental benefits of liquefied natural gas and about the history of Santos itself.
The Gladstone information centre is now complete and features informative displays, DVD presentations, historical material and meeting areas.
The Roma centre will be completed and open to the public in late January 2009.
