Keeping one step ahead of the marketing industry, Martins Integrated is connecting to the world via Cinenet fibre optic service. Cinenet is the high-speed broadband data network created by filmmakers specifically for screen media industries.
It breaks the barrier of distance by providing a shared, connected infrastructure for film producers, editing facilities, visual effects providers, sound facilities and DVD producers.
This is the same system used by the film industry – for example, filming for the latest Catherine Zeta Jones movie ‘No Reservations’ was shot in Manhattan, but director Scott Hicks chose to edit in Adelaide with a second cutting room in Sydney, while the music supervisor was in Los Angeles, and composer Philip Glass also worked from New York.
